| Description / विवरण | A terracotta figurine of mother goddess seated in ease, keeping her hands on knees left one broken . She wears a long flower garland passing in between the breast and a circular broad pendent reached upto ankle level. She has abnormal facial features having broad, snubbed nose with round nostrils, broad diamond shaped eyes with pinched eye balls, wide open mouth marked by a horizontal slit. Long ear lobes with kundalas, a head band, combed hair locks are arranged just like short jatakamakuta. It is a decorative element on the sikhara of the medieval temple belong to the pala period. |
