Description / विवरण
Description / विवरण	Sculpture of Shiva in Gajasura form. The sculpture is fixed in the temple no.1 of Rangmahal temple complex. This is very elaborated sculpture of shiva in which he is shown with 8 hands in which one hand is broken. In other hands he is shown holding a sword, trident, dagger, pot, shield and an elephant above the head. The Human form of Gajasura Andhakasura is seen on the tip of trident. The sculpture is well ornamented with necklace, yajnopaveeta, udarbandha, katibandha, armlet, bracelet, katimekhala, adhovastra, long garland, anklet and earrings. The face of the god is chipped off. One of his leg is shown resting on a shield supported by an warrior who is seen holding a sword. An Nandi is also seen on the pedestal.
