| Description / विवरण | Panel surmounted by stupa on top and depicting the four principal events of Buddha s life, which are arranged chronologically, starting from bellow. Stele on high slab rectangular in shape and terminating at the top in a small stupa carved in the round, which, however, has lost its finial. The bas-relief carved on the face of the sculpture is divided into four compartments placed one above the other. The stupa at the top of the stele contains, in a niche with arched head, a figure of Buddha seated cross-legged in meditation. |
