| Description / विवरण | It is a handmade pottery. It has a short neck, rounded base, slightly inward rim. It is made from medium-grained Kaolin clay. Ill-fired as it left a carbon spot on the outer surface of the body.The absence of any wheel made manufacturing marks indicative of pinching method which is a handmade technique. In this technique, a ball of clay is shaped into vessel by using thumb and forefingers.First, they create a hole in the centre and then start thinning the vessel walls. |
