| Description / विवरण | This is a stone panel consists of a human and animal figure. Here both the figures are carved in between pilasters. The figure of a man with a fat belly is shown carrying a bow on his left hand and in his right hand he is probably holding an arrow which is not properly visible. He is seated in ardhaparyanka asana. He is adorned with kundala and hara. His facial attributes like eyes, nose and lips are prominent and hair is properly tied. It seems that the human figure is of ahunter ready to hunt using a bow and arrow. The second figure is of an elephant shown in moving posture while his trunk appears to be tied by a chain. the scene may also be depicting a hunting or a battle of a human and an elephant. |
