| Description / विवरण | Well fired, painted terracotta rattle is red in color, made up of fine clay having hollow, smooth globular body, knob with curved top and sagar base. It has two perforations one at the base of knob and other on the shoulder. The painting is done on the upper part of body, in black color on the red surface. The painting has oblique stocks and a circle at the mid of body and concentric circles around knob. The object is called rattle because it has a pallet inside the body which produces sound while shaking it. |
