| Description / विवरण | This is a fragment of a large plaque depicting the feet of a figure. The feet are decorated with anklets and the folds of the lower garment worn by the figure are clearly visible. It is interesting to note that the feet have been depicted resting on a pedestal, thereby indicating the divine nature of the figure.The lower portion of the plaque is protruled in a manner typical of plaques form southern Bengal, giving the feet a three- dimensional effect. |
