| Description / विवरण | This plaque represents a grotesque demonic pot-bellied figure with circular earrings and a pleated loincloth. The figure possibly holds a staff. It is interesting to note the round bulging eyes, the hoof-like feet and the pointed animal-like ears of the figure. The plaque is provided with perforations on the top evidently meant for hanging. Plaques with similar archaic execution have been reported from the period between 1st - 5th centuries A.D. |
