| Description / विवरण | The figure wears necklace, huge circular ear ornaments and bangles. The figure is also wearing a garment with sleeves and is left open at the front. The presence of triranta symbol as a pendant on the necklace of the figurine. It is possible that the figure represented Kubera, the guardian of wealth. The pot-belly in the present case is associated with both the ingestive powers of the divinity and prosperity associated with him. More specifically the belly is indicative of the power of drinking great quantity of draughts. |
