Description / विवरण
Shanmukha Subrahmanya seated in ardha-prayankasana posture on a ornamental pitha. He is represented with six heads and twelve hands holding different weapons and flora such as trident, sword, knife, thunder bolt, shield, bow, arrow, mace and bell. His front right hand is in abhaya-mudra, whereas his front left hand is in varada-mudra. He wears kanthahara and long hara with a pendent, chest-band, beaded mekhala, wrist-bands and anklets, ardhoruka probably extended upto the knees. Peacock, his vahana is meticulously delineated at the pedestal. Middle portion of prabhamandala over the heads is broken and missing.
