| Description / विवरण | Siva as Nataraja with his legs bent and kept wide apart standing on a human figure apasmarapurusha . He carriers a battle-axe, a bowl, damaru, sula, agni and snake, while the front right hand kept in vyakhana or chinmudra and the left hand crossing to the right side across the chest and kept as gajahasta. He wears ornamental jatamakuta, kanthamala, hara, armlets, wrist-bands, chest-band, yajnopavita,anklets, ardhoruka tied with ornamental mekhala and kundalas. He has thick lower lip, long snubbed nose, half closed eyes, thick eyebrows and fleshy cheeks. Halo is seen prominently. There are musicians playing flute and drums on either side at the lower portion of the panel. |
