| Description / विवरण | Chaturbhuja Mahishasuramardini keeping her right leg firmly on the ground and placed her left folded leg on the head of the animal. She holds tail of the animal and lifting it with her right fore hand, whereas with her right hand she holds trisula piercing into the head of the demon. She holds sankha and chakra with her left and right upper hands respectively. Halo is prominently shown at her back. She wears karandamakuta, kundalas, kantaharas,bracelet, wrist-bands, anklets, ardhoruka tied with ornamental waist-band and tassels hanging between the legs. She has oval face with thick lips and the other features abraded. |
