| Description / विवरण | Nandi seated with folded legs, decorated with muvvalapatta band of rattles , hara of bells adorn the rear and fore parts. The kiritimukha tassels that span the girth of Nandi are knotted in brahmamudi knot along with band of rattles and hara of bells. A miniature Sivalinga is portrayed on the pedestal infront of the Nandi. Nandi is also decorated with mukhapada check straps and kanthaharas which gives the sacredness to the animal. It is one of the classic examples of Kakatiya School of Art. |
