| Description / विवरण | Dasavatara panel showing the first 4 incarnations. The 1st one is matsya, lower part fish and the upper human with 4 hands. Head is adorned with kirithamakuta. The 2nd Kurma, lower part tortoise while the upper is human. The 3rd Varaha, the whole body is human excepting the head which is a boar, facing right. The 4th is Narasimha, the whole body is human while the head is lion shaped. All the four are 4 armed holding sankha and chakra and the front hands in abhaya and varada-mudrapostures. Ornaments include flowing haras, keyuras, anklets and wristlets. |
