| Description / विवरण | Chennakesava standing in samapada sthanaka posture. He is represented with four hands. He holds sankha and chakra in his upper raised right and left hands respectively and a lilly flower nilotpala in his raised fore right hand and a mace broken in the left fore hand. He has oval face with broad chin, long snubbed nose, thick lips, lenticular eyes and fleshy cheeks. He wears high decorated kritamakuta, kundalas, kanthaharas, a long double stranded hara hanging from the left shoulder extended upto the knees and tied on the right side with a band, long haras, ardhoruka tied with circular jewelled clips at the centre and hanging central tassel flowing in between the legs, bhujakiritis and kankanas. An elaborate foliated prabhamandala with female dwarapalas on either side holding chamaras in their left hands. |
