| Description / विवरण | Asthabhuja Mahishasuramardini standing in tribhanga posture. She placed her right leg on the ground firmly, whereas her left leg placed on the left folded thigh of the demon. She holds trisula with her right fore hand and piercing into the body of the Mahisa, she holds the right horn of the animal, with her left fore hand. With her two right upper hands, she cuts the head of the Mahisa with long sword. An arrow is seen in her right upper hand. She holds bow, shield and pasa in her upper left hands. Her roaring lion is shown on the back side. She has oval face, thick lips, long pointed nose, almond shaped eyes, fleshy cheeks. She wears kundalas, high karandamakuta, beaded haras,waist-band with folded tassels hanging on the thighs and between the legs. |
