| Description / विवरण | Parvati standing in samapada sthanaka posture. She is represented with four hands. She holds trisula and damaru in her upper right and left hands respectively. Her lower right hand is in abhaya-mudra and lower left hand holds akshamala broken . She wears high karandamakuta, kundalas, Kanthaharas, purnoruka tied with waist-bands and a long folded tassel hanging between the legs, anklets, armlets and wrist-bands. She has oval face, thick lips, almond shaped eyes, pointed chin, long snubbed nose and fleshy cheeks. Figures of Ganesa and Nandi facing right, are shown on the right and left corners of the sculpture respectively. Ornamental prabhavali behind the head is shown prominently. |
