| Description / विवरण | Mahishasuramardini standing in tribangha posture. Goddess tramples Mahisha mutilated keeping her right leg on the hind part of animal piercing trident with her right fore hand mutilated . She is dragging the right hand of Mahisha with her left hand, who is emerging out of the animal and giving fight against goddess with his raised right hand holding a sword. The weapons holding in her upper two hands are broken and missing. She wears high karandamakuta, patrakundalas, kanthahara long necklace hanging over the breast, jewelled and looped mekhala, keyuras, and wrist-bands. She has round face, wide thin lips, long snubbed nose, slightly bulged eyes, thick eyebrows and fleshy cheeks. The sculpture is mutilated. |
