| Description / विवरण | Siva as Nataraja carved in a niche between two thick horizontal banded frame. He is represented with ten hands and dancing on apasmarapurusha. His two front hands are in gajahasta. He holds trisula, pasa, damaru, khadga, chakra,snake, ghanta and knife in his upper right and left hands. He wears karandamakuta with side hair locks flowing on either side over the shoulders, anklets, wristlets, keyuras, kanthaharas, yajnopavita, kundalas, purnorukha tied with ornamental waist-bands with hanging tassels between the legs. There are musicians on either side at both the corners of the panel. He has oval face with long snubbed nose, slightly protruded eyes, fleshy cheeks and pointed chin. Other features slightly abraded. |
