| Description / विवरण | Kartikeya standing in samapada sthanaka posture. He wears dissimilar kundalas, kiritamakuta, kanthamala, yajnopavita, katisutra, mekhala, ardhoruka with loops hanging down, nagakeyuras angada and kankans. He holds a staff with pointed head upwards and placed his left hand on the waist holding kukkuta. An ornamental prabhavali is seen on the rear side prominently. He is shown with round face, long snubbed nose, almond shaped eyes, fleshy cheeks, blunt chin, and other iconographical features clearly indicates the Early Art School of the Chalukyas. |
