| Description / विवरण | Chaturbhuja Kali or Choudeswari local name seated in lalitasana posture. She held sula, damaru in her upper hands and khadga, kapala in the fore arms. An ornamental makuta with a serpent in the middle, kundals, haras, slightly drooping breasts, oval face with long nose, lenticular eyes, thin closed lips, blunt chin, fleshy cheeks are the notable features. Halo at the back side of the image is prominently seen. On the pitha, there are five human heads or pretas and below them is an animal looking like a jackal. |
