| Description / विवरण | Asthabhuja Devi is shown with perfect iconographical features. She kept her bent leg firmly on the ground and the right leg on the hind portion of the animal. She holds the head of animal with her front hand and piercing it with trident holding with her third upper left hand. The other weapons shield and sword are seen clearly, other weapons not clear. She has oval face, long nose, thick lower lip, half closed eyes and fleshy cheeks. Her hair is done into a knot above the head. She wears beaded head band with hanging beads on the forehead, dissimilar kundalas i.e. one is ratnakundala and the other one is makarakundala, a beaded necklace, kankanas, anklets, mekhala and ardhoruka tied with waist band. Her vehicle lion is seen on the right side near her legs. The animal kept its fore leg on the hind portion of Mahisa, as if it is attacking. |
