| Description / विवरण | Siva-Parvati seated in alingana-mudra on the Kailasa mountain which is being shaken by Ravana. Siva s lower right hand is held in Vitarkamudra while he carries serpent in the upper right hand. His upper left hand is broken while he caresses Parvati s breast with the lower left hand. Parvati embraces Siva with her right hand and holds mirror in her left hand. Side figures on the pedestal represent ganas. The pedestal centrally bears four-armed Ravana trying to dislodge Kailasa flanked by Siva-ganas who are making a fun of Ravana by showing their anus. Below the couch supporting the divine couple are shown their mounts viz. bull and lion intervened by skeletal Bhrngi. The couch is flanked on the right by Ganesa and on the left by Karttikeya. |
