| Description / विवरण | Gada Devi, the personified ayudha of Visnu stands in frontal view with one leg slightly extended forwarded. The Gada Devi is depicated here as pratantra for it formed part of the compositional image of Visnu and stood to his right. Height prescribed for the Dada Devi and cakrapursua is not more than the thigh of Visnu they are often shown forming acute angle with excessive swing of the body as they strain to look at the God. Gada Devi holds a camara while the left hand is held down at ease. Her hair are gathered up in the top knot shown in the form of grooves of mace. She wears cakra kundalas a single stringed necklace ekavali. |
