| Description / विवरण | Book illustration in the style of Pahari painting. It shows ocean of milk but painted dark. Where at the right god Vishnu is shown reclining on sesh and Lakshmi is seated below holding the god s foot. The god has four hands holding his usual attributes. Brahma with four faces and four arms is seated on lotus at the top. Two headless demons, Madhu and Kataba , are depicted at the left lower corner. At the four corners outside the ocean some springs are drawn. A miniature figure of a goddess Durga with two arms is shown at the top right corner. |
