| Description / विवरण | Pahari Miniature painting depicting the episode of Dari lils Krishna taking tall. It is a fragmentary painting. On the right side, a cowgirl is standing coyly with folded hands. There is a light green basket with three red pots containing curd or butter. On the left is a portion of the figure of Krishna the rest of the picture was destroyed in a house fire who is reaching the pots with his left hand .He is wearing yellow dhoti and the scarf falling down from around his left arm is red with white stripes . Its ends are yellow with red flowers. On the same arm hangs a garland of white flowers. The cow of the milkmaid cowgirl is red while her skirt is dark brown with vertical red stripes & white flowers. The border of the skirt is white with red & black stripes. She is wearing anklet too. The background is light blue. |
