| Description / विवरण | Pahari Miniature painting showing goddess Durga Killing a demon. The goddess has eighteen arms. Nine on each side excepting two of her arms. She is holding different types of weapons in each of them. In one of her left hand she is holding a bell and in the other a lotta with a handle. The goddess is wearing red choli and red skirt with grey floral border. Her tiger is attacking the demon. Half side with two legs also of the tiger white. The demon has a head of a bear and has feet like that of a vulture. He had beard hit down. His shield has also fallen away. He has snake like tail. His langot loincloth is red and had grey stripes. The scarf at the waist is yellow with golden ends. The background is light green. In the foreground tuft of grass is shown with small lines in blue. |
