| Description / विवरण | Miniature painting of Guru Nanak listening to the musician Mardana . Guru Nanak is crossed legged on a yellow carpet with floral patterns. He is holding a rosary in his right hand . He is clad in a mauve cloak with golden leaf like over all pattern, His golden cap has a feather find at the top. He seems to be absorbed in meditative thinking Mardana is playing on a rubah . He is wearing a gold pendant . His beard shows a few touches of grey . The sash around his waist has golden ends . The ground is plain light green . On the left of the architectural design a tree is painted with stylised foliage . Their is a small & narrow strip fo sky appearing behind the tree. |
