| Description / विवरण | A lady seated on a high seat or typical Indian Murha with legs suspended. In front of her leg there is a large vase now preserved only fragmentarily. The figure wore a Dhoti reaching slightly below the knees. The incised and mould folds of drapery are symmetrically shown round the hips, thighs and abdomen portion. An elaborate griddle consisting of three stringed bands of beads is finely executed in relief at the back. In the feet conspicuous anklet may be seen. Decorative balusters cone-rim and thick cover-moulded. |
