| Description / विवरण | The square shaft is clasped by a narrow foliate band below which are kirttimukhas spewing festoons, the loops of which are held at the corners by rampant vyalas. Bells suspended by long chains also fall down the shaft. Above the foliate band are demi-medallions edged with a single row of beads and lotuses at the corners. They contain two geese, with heads touching, on one side, and a goose with head turned back on the other. The short octagonal section is decorated with kirttimukha heads with puffed cheeks and emitting pearl festoons. The remainder of the pillar including the capital is missing. |
