| Description / विवरण | Three copper plate strung together on a copper ring. The two ends of the ring are joined under a seal in the form of couchant bull on lotus. Out of three copper plate s corner portion of two plates are cut and missing. Altogether 45 lines of writing on plate. First plate having 11 lines of writing and second plate 11 line of writing obverse, and 12 lines on reverse. In the 3rd plate 10 lines on obverse a single line on reverse side. The language of writing is Sanskrit Script is Eastern variety of northern alphabet. The Charter records the grant of village Khandadagrama situated within the Visaya of Varttani in favour of the renowned astrologer and scholar named Sri Jagadhara of the Bharadvaja gotra. |
