| Description / विवरण | The goddess is seated in the vajra-paryankasana posture on a visva-padma with high stamens above a footed oblong pedestal. Of the four hands of the deity, the two natural ones resting on the lap, are in the dhyana-mudra with a bowl on the right palm. Her upper right palm holds a rosary, while the corresponding left bears a water-pot. Attired in a sati, with folds indicated by incised lines, and an uttariya worn in an upaviti fashion, the goddess is bejeweled in beaded anklets, bangles, armlets, bangles, armlets with a flower-shaped central piece, a necklace with a long floral pendant, kundalas and a short crown at the base of the high conical jata-mukuta. The eyes are inlaid with silver. |
