| Description / विवरण | This is a kannada inscription of 12th century A.D. character of late chalukyan period.The inscription contains around 37 lines and starts with the usual invocation to god and mentions about certain donations etc.,The top portion depicts a relief of yoni pitha with a male figure seated on it keeping his hands in dhyana mudra. His face is obliterated. Pitha is flanked by relief of sun and crescent moon to the right and left side respectively.A relief of cow feeding its calf shown standing to left of the pitha is noteworthy. |
