Description / विवरण	A set of three inscribed Copper plates, fond together by a ring with a ladle shaped, royal bearing the front view elephant in relief , was found by a ploughman while tilling a plot of a land belonging to one Shri Nomal Chandar of Village Dighaligaon, Kaliabor in the Nagaon District of Assam. The writing cover the inner faces of the first and the third plates and both the faces of the middle plate. There are a total of 63 lines of writing i.e., 17 lines each in the first three faces and 12 lines in the fourth. The charter was issued by king Vanam 257 la Varmadeva C.A.D 835-65 son and successor of Harjaravarnadeva C.A.D 815-35 belonging to the Mleccha dynasty of Pr 257 gjyoti K 257 mrupa kingdom. It records a gift of a Khandalaka of land belonging to Purjeka-pardisa in the Southern division of the kingdom.
