| Description / विवरण | This inscription records both Brahmottara and Dharmottara grants. It records that 14 pur 257 s forest land 8 pur 257 homestead land in Tuhara village and 12 pur 257 paddy producing land in Hahada village of Kovarbh 257 g pargana were offered to one br 257 hmana named Lakhipati as Bramottara grant. While 8 pur 257 s paddy growing land and 6 families of Satasngi Bhakatas alongwith their homestead lands and grazing fields in the Lechakon 257 village of pubpar pargan 257 were donated to one Dharmesvara Medhi as Dharmottara grant. The inscription was issued by Tarun Duvara Barpukan at the instruction of king Sivasimaha in the saka year 1663. From the office of the D.C.,Kamrup, the plate was brought to the Assam State Museum. |
