| Description / विवरण | |
| Description / विवरण | This particular inscription consists of three copper plates measuring 14.5 22.7cms cm. each held togetherfollower by ring, attached to the heart-shaped royal seal. The plates were found by Shri Budha Sut, while tilling the ground at Khanamukh, a village in Barbhagia Mauza of the Nagaon district of Assam. The plates ultimately reached the Assam State Museum through Shri L.M.Som, the then D.C. of Nagoan. The charter declares that king Shri Dharmapala in the first year of his region donated a plot of land yielding six thousand units of paddy to a Brahmin named Ummoka, who belonged to Kasyapa gotra and a follower of the Kanvasakha of the Yajurveda. |
