| Description / विवरण | This copper plate record that king Rudrasimha offered a mohar patra i.e.,paper with royal insignia to Chandracuda Deuri of parahakuchi village of Bajali pargana donating him altogether 40 pura of land. While the mohar patra was found to be worn out jirnapatra king Sivasimha issued this copper plate to the said Deuri granting him the said lands. The plate does not bear royal seal and the symbol. The reverse contains the signature of F. Jenkins, special Commissioner, Assam with his order to the effect that the plate was forfeited and seized on 6th Oct.1838 A.D. |
