| Description / विवरण | The set consists of three copper plates attached to a ring with royal seal. The letters are deep cut and neatly engraved. The first plate is inscribed only on one side, contains 13 lines of a writing, the second plate is inscribed on both sides, contains 10 lines on the first side and 11 lines on the second side and the third plate contains 12 lines on the first side and 9 lines on the second side. There are altogether 55 lines of writing. The royal seal contains the emblem of a crescent moon and couchant bull. The language is Sanskrit and script is Eastern verity of northen class of alphabet. The inscription records the grant of the village in favor of Bhatta putra, Trivikramanandin, of the Krshatreya gotra. |
