| Description / विवरण | This object with hanging bells certainly had a religious purpose, most probably of a bell itself in a shrine. It is decorated with tiny figures of deities, demons, birds and animals, shown at different levels. A three faced and four armed deity is shown seated on a lotus seat at the finial of the ring, meant to hold the bell object. A level below, on two sides of the ring, two peacocks are shown seated on flowery branches issuing up. At the base of the ring, two demonic faces are depicted. The upper sphere of the bell, below the neck is also decorated with demonic faces and base of the lower sphere has rows of animals . The bell has traces of paints at several places. |
