| Description / विवरण | Trench V-X, Stratum Layer 1 Cowrie is a shell. It is very small in size and is of egf shape. It has a hump on one of its side and the other side has a silt like opening or having toothed at edges.It was used for ornamentation by both men and women extensively in jewellery. Also used as currency, dice game. Surface is smooth and appearance is of cream colour. |
