| Description / विवरण | Trench DX - 1, Stratum Pit 1 Sealed by Layer 2 This is a double coin mould made of baked clay. Surface is rough and colour is brown. The depression in the mould on one side suggests the figurine of Kartikaya God. The deity is shown standing holding a spear. The Vahana of Kartikaya shown near to his feet and on the other side the depression in the mould suggest a deity whose one hand is raised and other hand is placed on waist. This coin moulds was used to cast coins for currency purpose. |
