| Description / विवरण | Trench DX- 2, Layer 5 This is a coin mould made of terracotta . The depression in the mould suggests the figurine of Kartikaya God. The deity is shown standing holding with a spear. The Vahana of Kartikaya shown near to his feet. Moreover, the inscription around the depression for giving prominence to the figurine in the mould. These coin moulds were used for casting coins for currency purpose. Surface is rough and colour is brick brown. |
