| Description / विवरण | Trench A, Depth 108 to 126 cm, Pit 3 sealed by layer 3 This is a broken coin mould made of terracotta. The depression in the mould suggest a deity standing in fornt of humped bull which are Shiva and Nandi according to Hindu iconography. The deity is shown standing holding with a Trident. Moreover, the dot pattern around the depression for giving prominence to the figurine in the mould. These coin moulds were used for casting coins for currency purpose. Surface is rough and colour is brown. |
