| Description / विवरण | Trench DX- 2, Stratum Pit 1 sealed by layer 2 This is a mould made of terracotta. The depression on the mould called negative. The depression suggest that it is a figurine of Shasti deity which holds some object in one hand and other hand placing on its waist. On its one side there is a depiction of a purna ghata and on other side at the back some small figurines in seated postures suggests that the devotees of the deity. Moreover ,the bead pattern around the negative gives prominance to the character casted. Surface of the object is rough and colour brick brown. |
