| Description / विवरण | Trench DX- 2, Stratum Pit 1 sealed by layer 2 This is a mould made of terracotta for casting coin for currency purpose. The depression in the mould is called the negative. The depression suggests that it is a figurine of Kartikey God which holds spear in his one hand and other hand is placed on its wait. On its one side there is a depiction of a peacock below and the inscription around the negative give prominance to the character and adorns the coin. Surface of object is rough and colour is terracotta red. The coin mould is used for casting coin for currency purpose. |
