| Description / विवरण | This is a long barrelled gun, having a elongated stock of teak wood. It has a flat base and a protruded offset at the top near the breech end. The stock channel below the barrel is missing from the middle.A flat iron trigger is provided between a slot at the base of stock connected to the hammer cock at the side of breech end. The rusted and broken barrel measuring 1.60 m in length is strapped to the stock channel which is missing partly with three thin iron bands fastened with twisted nails . The barrel broken near the top end contains a single line urdu inscription of 18th C AD character mentioning the name of Nizam of Hyderabad state 1762-1803 A.D. . Flaring mouth of the barrel measures 9 cm in circumference.Stock is brownish in colour due to patina and the gun barrel and other iron parts are rusted. |
