| Description / विवरण | This is a small cannon used for firing long range cannon balls.The base is broad, measuring 37 cm in circumference where as the circular barrel mouth is comparatively narrow and measures 34 cm in circumference.At the rear end a small perforation is provided on the top surface to ignite gun powder for firing. It is muzzle loaded.In the middle a long pivot is provided measuring 18 cm in length to fix it firmly. At the rear end a narrow cylindrical and fluted handle measuring 16 cm in length is provided, for easy rotation of cannon in different directions and to vary elevation.Out turned muzzle end is noteworthy. |
