Description / विवरण	Under a stylized tree canopy Buddha is hown seated with his right hand raised in the abhaya pose. A number of persons, including three prominently shown females are represented in the panel. Of the male, one can recognise the figure of vajrapani and sakra to the right of Buddha. The presence of other eight male figures in addtion to that of the females suggests that the scene represents a important occasion on which many personalities visited Buddha. One of the three female figures on the left holds some item like an elongated flask. On the basis of community gathering it is speculated that the scene represents reception of Buddha by the people of Vaishali duiring his last visit to the city before his departure to Kushinagara.
