| Description / विवरण | This is a typical bracket of the Islamic period noticed in northern karnataka invaiably found in the relegious as well as secular buildings of 16-17th century A.D. Similar brackets are seen in the nagar khana at Bidar fort.The details on sides of bracket include a series of curved mouldings converging at the suare relief resting on moulded base.Relief of a floral motif toped by a domed fenial is carved at the rear end.Upper portion of the bracket also exhibits series of mouldings.The protruded dome like relief is noteworthy. |
