| Description / विवरण | This is part of a cornice with semi-circular section usually found provided over the bhitti of early chalukyan temples.The dressed upper surface contains a protruded strip at the middle portion decorated with diamond shaped button within bead designed border.The curved under surface depicts reliefs of four dwarfs seated in sukhasana supporting the stepped rafters on their head as bharavahakas.They are shown with typical circular headgear,kundala and attired with lower garments.All have two hands, stretched right hand is near the right knee whereas left hand is folded and rests on the left knee.On stylistic grounds may be ascribed to early chalukyan period. |
